Endowment Funds
Listed below are various ways in which community members, parents, alumni, and businesses can make a tax deductible gift to the CHS Foundation. Chico High School (CHS) Foundation is affiliated with the North Valley Community Foundation which provides 501(c)(3) tax status.
Creating an Endowment Fund
A fund may be created by any individual with an initial gift of $5,000. It may bear the name of the donor or loved one. For living gifts and estate giving, there are other options. Please contact your estate planner or the North Valley Community Foundation.
General Fund - Unrestricted
Donating to the General fund allows the Board to direct funds to meet student needs.
Chico High Centennial Endowment Fund (mini-grant)
Interest monies on an annual basis will be utilized to fund mini-grant program enhancement projects proposed by CHS teachers. Donors are encouraged to add to the $40,000 endowment fund.
