Fund Raising Options

The CHS Foundation Board has created several investment options for donors. Please refer to the foundation brochure for a more detailed description of the programs requesting additional financial support.

Chico High School Foundation is an Annie B’s Community Drive participant. Your donations to CHSF will be matched, in part, by the North Valley Community Foundation!

~ Option 1 ~

Become an “Honorary Member”

Become an “honorary member” of the CHS Foundation. For a $100 annual donation you can be listed as an honorary member on our future correspondence. The Board will place the money in the Centennial Endowment account which funds the minigrant programs for CHS teachers. Only interest on the principal investment is spent for the grants.

~ Option 3 ~

Form an “Interest Group”

Form an “interest group” and create a permanent endowment. For $5000 or more, CHS graduates from the same class, or the same profession, etc. can create an endowment for a student scholarship or support of a specific program.

~ Option 2 ~

Donate Money to Any Program

Donate money to any program at CHS. On the last page of the CHS Foundation brochure is a listing of the programs available for funding.

~ Option 4 ~

Create a Personal Legacy Endowment Fund

Create a personal legacy endowment fund for $5000 or more. In your name, the name of a loved one, or your favorite teacher, etc., you can create a permanent, perpetual scholarship or support a program forever! If you are so inclined, you can write the CHS Foundation into your will. Please consult with your estate attorney and the executive director of NVCF for the best way to pursue this option.
